A perfectly crafted movie. There isn't a scene or a line of dialogue unneeded.
That people rate it 6.9 on Listal reveals that few know what real move making is all about.
This movie is a 10 and anyone who knows movie making knows it is. Why do you think it plays heavy rotation on TV screens to this day?

Brazil review

Ignoring that the fantasy sequences add nothing to the story, this movie needed a mature, professional to edit a good part of it.
Clearly, maker Gilliam fails to get that though you can mock the absurdity of humans acting groups, no one can mock human nature within an individual and hold anyone's interest for long.
While much of the visuals seem interesting, in the end, the movie ends up being little more than the work of a cartoonist who doesn't really understand storytelling, especially dramatic storytelling.
